It was nice and updated and had a nice view
One of the aircons were not working one room doesn’t even have aircon and the bed frame broke.

Best location in Cooktown. View is incredible, easy short walk along foreshore to cafe and water-play. 1.2km walk into town if you can handle the heat. Nicely updated house, excellent balcony. Very relaxing.
Unfortunately we had issues with the air con in the bedrooms, could only get one working so had a hot restless night. Main bedroom fan is too noisy to leave on at night and the door squeaks loudly when opened which also disturbed sleep. Pillows are terrible as I had read in reviews, so we had to use the couch cushions to sleep. A little disappointing for the premium price. In saying all of this I would still recommend as the location and view are unbeatable and the host was lovely to deal with.
