S'Atalaya Vella. Beautiful country house, Great privacy, 5 minutes to the beach

The house was just as described in the listing on Vrbo- spacious and clean with beautiful views of the island from the top of the tower. We cooked multiple meals in the kitchen. It was well stocked with any items you may need. The pool was kept clean and was great for a quick dip. Another perk of this property is the proximity to Cala Santanyí. After only a 10 minute walk, we were able to walk to the most beautiful beach I have ever been to with crystal clear waters as well as an area to jump off rocks if you swim farther out. The best part of this property is the communication with the owners. Juan and Sebastiana were quick to reply and assist in any way possible. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return in the future!

Lovely location with easy instructions on how to get there and whereabouts of keys etc Good BBQ and kitchen although bigger tumblers and more cutlery would be good. Also a washing line for outside somewhere. A/c in 3 ground floor bedrooms - definitely needed Asked not to move furniture in outside space but thought tables and chairs and picnic table were a bit oddly placed. 8 sunbeds with 2 parasols only that were fixed and partly broken and didn’t really provide much shade! Some rattan furniture would be good on top “solarium” with a sail shade. The views are amazing!! The 4th “bedroom” doesn’t have A/C and no internal door and just stairs up from the living/tv area. It has an external door to the “solarium” (the only access so you have to go through this room!). It is very disconnected from the other bedrooms and also from the toilets and showers etc. Therefore we didn’t use it and the 11 yr old shared the 3rd ground floor bedroom (& bed) with her sister instead. They slept okay however we had wanted 4 bedrooms as 6 adults and two girls. The pool is salt water (very salty) and there was an issue with sand/pump but David was amazing and came to sort out with a snorkel brush and pan to remove the sand! The owner was easy to contact and responded quickly to any texts. All in all a great villa for 6 rather than 8 with nearby Santanyi which is a lovely little.old town.

We celebrated my mums 60th here with family, we couldn’t have asked for a nicer place. Brilliant commutation from start to finish with the property owners. Really peaceful location, we enjoyed relaxing by the pool & cooking meals to enjoy together. A short but steep walk to the gorgeous clear waters or the bay & some lovely beach bars. Wishing we were still there!
