The Hiker's Hangout at Jasper is the perfect spot to recharge & make memories after a full day of adventures in the Buffalo National River. We are located central to all of the offerings of Newton County, Arkansas. Activities include canoeing/kayaking the Buffalo River, National Park & Ozark National Forest Trails, Elk Viewing at Boxley Valley, Rock Climbing at Horseshoe Canyon, Zip Lining, ATV/OHV Park, Mountain Trail Biking, Caving, Scenic Driving routes, Waterfalls, and many more.

The house is located across the street from the public school a short distance from downtown. We enjoyed browsing the local shops and eating at the Ozark Cafe. We did experience some ants as the weather was beginning to get colder.

Hikers Hangout is a spacious comfortable property. It's obvious that the owners take pride in it. We found it convenient to the places that we like to eat and shop at when we visit Jasper. The ping pong and air hockey tables in the game room looked like great fun, but we didn't take advantage of them as the rest of our family had to cancel at the last minute. We however, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was just as listed, had plenty of everything we needed. Beds were comfy, and cozy. Enjoyed the game room, and the living and dining spaces were great for our group. Will definitely book again!
