About this house rental
Our home is located in the hills, 6
km from Lucca, in a scenic spot surrounded by olive trees.
It retains the charm of its history as a former farm that was run by our parents until a few years ago. The house has two bedrooms equipped with air conditioners that also provide heating. The house does not have an independent heating system. My sisters and I want to keep the property alive because we love being close to nature and don’t want to forget our roots. On the property, you can take walks and see the vineyard, which is unique in that it’s circular.In the barn adjacent to the house, one of our sisters runs a B&B, but the house also has outdoor spaces indipendenti.Si where you can take walks in the village of Pozzuolo, which features several trails marked by the CAI. The house is ideally located for driving to other cities in Tuscany (Pisa is about 20 km away, Florence about 80 km) as well as Versilia and its beaches—about a 30-minute drive—or the Garfagnana region with the Apuan Alps and Abetone in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The spacious indoor and outdoor areas, along with the peace and quiet surrounding the house, are sure to ensure you enjoy a relaxing vacation. We had a wonderful stay at Giovanna’s countryside home near Lucca. Giovanna was incredibly sweet, cordial, and welcoming throughout our stay. She was always very responsive and went out of her way to provide helpful recommendations for restaurants, activities, and places to visit around Lucca, which made our trip even more enjoyable.The home itself was very tidy, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for. The countryside setting was beautiful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind after exploring lucca each day. The place was cozy and you can tell the place was well cared for over the years. We appreciated Giovanna’s hospitality and would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Lucca area. We would happily stay again! Ciao!

The host was most accommodating. It made the visit feel like i was at a “ home away from home”. The proximity to the excellent rail service in this country made it a perfect base. I would definitely consider returning.

My partner and I had a delightful two-week stay in this charming farm house. The peaceful surroundings and attentive host made it a truly relaxing experience. The house was well-equipped and offered a stunning view of Lucca. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to return for another getaway. Highly recommended!
