Cozy Waterfront Escape near Helen & Vineyards FREE night with 3 night stay

This property was just delightful. When you enter, you see the bed, dresser, kitchen and bathroom. When you go through the sliding door, you’ll see a cozy living room with sofa, coffee table and TV. There’s a covered table and chairs attached and uncovered area with two chairs to enjoy the view. The sofa is actually a futon so it would easily fit a family of four. The host responded quickly with questions especially on check-in day (and we got there about 1030 PM). The cabin is about 50 feet away to a lake with a dock. This place is just great! The only thing to consider is the pathway to get to the front door is pretty steep but otherwise we enjoyed our stay so much! 10/10 would stay again!!!

I want to thank Ashley for being a great host. Pros:The cottage was clean and had coffee keurigs, and creamer and the kitchen had everything you would need to make a meal. The bed was firm, and pillows were soft and comfortable. There was a TV set and a working fireplace which was very nice. Cons:The sheets I discovered had blood stains which grossed me out. I texted Ashley and she had someone come out the next morning and changed them. The shower area is so so tiny, smaller than a cruise ship shower. There was no area to place your soap while showering. You held the soap or dropped it to the floor. And risk getting hurt since the shower was so small. The common area where the fireplace and TV are is an enclosed porch. Which felt a bit strange it was never truly warm unless you had the fireplace place on. We were there during December so I would have liked it warmer. Overall the place was clean, and cute. I wouldn’t give it more than 3 stars at best.
