The powder blue-washed wood interior give a spacious, clean and refreshing atmosphere to this cabin. The high ceilings, wood beams and many windows allow for lots of light to shine in. On cold evenings enjoy the warmth and glow of the wood burning stove. Cuddle up on the leather coach for a tv marathon or enjoy the glider rockers with a good book. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator, stove top and oven, as well as a microwave, crock pot, drip coffee maker and toaster. In the kitchen closet is the stacked washer and dryer. On this same main floor is the master queen bedroom and bath. Upstairs, the loft features both a queen and a twin bed with another full bath. For entertainment, there is WiFi, a DVD player and a CD player. There's plenty of space for relaxing either inside or out at Sunset Overlook. Don't miss the spectacular sunsets dropping behind Mt. Yonah from the back deck, screened porch or new outdoor fire pit. The night sky from this location is perfect for star gazing. Bring your star guide and see who can find the most constellations! Located only 6.5 miles from downtown Helen.

Loved our Sunset View cabin! Booking it was easy and the customer service folks were great.The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was great for walking our little dog. Due to the drought, we didn’t use the fire pit but enjoyed the views from the porch. We liked that the porch had a gate so our dog could be outside without wandering off.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet. This was a perfect place for our mountain getaway. The mountain view, deer and other wildlife, and perfectly quiet evenings on the porch were incredibly relaxing. Highly recommend and will definitely be renting this place again.

This was a bare-bones cabin, but definitely needed some updates. We addressed these concerns to the management team: kitchen drawers had no tracks so they fell out each time there were opened, we had no bear proof trash can available, so once our trash was filled we had to keep the full bag in the extra bathroom upstairs (we did not have guests in that portion of the cabin, so it was our only option for the trash bag), the w/d were both in need of maintenance, the HVAC filter was dirty (blew dust and dirt out when we turned on the heater, so we pulled it out to clean) and the outdoor seating by the fire pit was broken/missing. Overall, it worked for the two of us with our pets, but before more guests come to fill the space, we hope they will do a deep maintenance review AND consider a bear proof trash receptacle for outside, since it is not reasonable to have guests in a property that can only have trash picked up when you have filled 2 bags - which is their current policy.
