About this house rental
Enjoy your personal luxury oceanfront getaway located in the exclusive guard gated community of Saint Malo Beach. This charming French Normandy styled community has the feel of a beachside European retreat with old world charm, community beach, volleyball, tennis and pickle ball courts.
This home is a classic French indoor/outdoor house. As you enter, you'll walk through a breezeway to the center courtyard. Four of the six bedrooms can be accessed directly from the courtyard. This includes one bedroom with a king bed and full bath, one bedroom with twin beds and a full bath, and two other bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds. These two bedrooms share a shower bathroom. There is another bedroom on the main floor off of the living room. This bedroom has a queen bed and a shower bathroom. The sixth bedroom is downstairs off of the game room. This bedroom has a king bed and shower bathroom.
In addition to the 6 bedrooms in the main house, an outdoor staircase in the center courtyard leads up to a separate apartment that provides a quiet, private haven of its own. This space has a king bedroom, bathroom with glass enclosed shower and windows facing the ocean, as well as a living room with a sofa bed and kitchenette. The apartment can be added to your stay for an additional cost.
Moving into the main home, you are greeted with high-ceilings in a classic great room with ample seating, wood burning fireplace, game table, large side patio and panoramic ocean views. The open dining room has a large farmhouse table that seats 8-10 guests. There is a gourmet kitchen with a large center island and updated appliances, including double ovens, two full-sized refrigerators, and a separate beverage refrigerator.
Moving downstairs from the great room is a game room with a pool table, flat screen tv, comfortable seating and a gas burning fireplace. The sixth bedroom and a shower bathroom are off of the game room. Walk out the French doors to a glassed-in patio spanning the width of the house. The patio boasts a comfortable seating area under a protective gazebo and a large dining table for al fresco meals. There is a small beach area just steps outside the patio with loungers and umbrellas for soaking up the sun and ocean views. There is also an outside shower.

The kitchen was awesome. They had everything you need and a lot of room for 2-4 people to work together. The house was perfect for our family. The 1st floor had my son, wife, in one room with their own bathroom then the 2 boys shared a room with a bathroom and the 3 girls shared a room with their own bathroom. kids, On the other side was my other son and his 2 teenage girls. They had their own room but shared the bathroom. Downstairs, my daughter and her husband stayed with their own bathroom. My husband and I stayed in the apartment. Plenty of room to have privacy, yet see each other. The sunsets were incredible.

Lela's house is a remarkable property in a beautiful gated Oceanside community. The house is right on the water and the views are magnificent!! It's like you are right on top of the water. Sunsets were spectacular!! The house is large, with a beautiful mix of antique and beach decor. The kitchen is renovated and very well stocked. Most of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the smaller side, as is typical in homes of the era it was built in. But they have made it very comfortable. My family enjoyed the small sand beach on the first floor of the property and the pool table as well. The cabana beach is clean and guarded by a lifeguard. We had unfortunate timing with a perpetual high tide and big surf that made for no actual beach access down the steps of the cabana beach. This only affected the little kids in our family, everyone else could enjoy the water. We look forward to returning next year!

We’ve stayed in Oceanside before and had always been curious about this niche neighborhood. The home was fantastic for our family of 10 and the views cannot be beat. All the amenities were plus as we played pickle ball every morning. The neighbors and security staff were very friendly as was the owner who was extremely attentive. We would highly recommend staying in here and hope to be back soon!
