About this house rental
We have a nice newer 4 bedroom, 1 3/4 bath lake home with a full kitchen and 150 ft of lakeshore with shallow water dock close to everything in Danbury. The fishing is good on the lake, the dock is not a great swimming area. We have wireless internet, a large desk with workspace if you need it and couple smart TVs, There is a laundromat/atv/utv/carwash available in Danbury right next door to the Grocery store. A couple kayak's are there for you to use, bring your own life jackets, a large deck with wheelchair access at the house and outdoor fire pit. Where we really standout is for the atv/snowmobile crowd. A large parking area for atv/utv/snowmobile with ample room for trucks and trailers. 60 thousand acres of county land for exploring, wildlife viewing, berry picking, hunting. A shallow water boat launch is right down the road. The off-road trails are right down the street as well.
The house is close to a grocery store, gas station, Dollar general, laundromat/ATV- carwash, Danbury mall thrift shopping, South on the Gandy Dancer trail is great for bicycling and hiking, north on the trail is for ATV/ UTV riding, in the winter the trail is open for snow mobiles, the casino and many bar restaurants in the area for your evening entertainment if you so desire.

Perfect for my Adult kids and the children as overflow when spending weekend at my brothers cabin also on Tabor Lake. Chris is a great host very response. Rental was as advertised!

We stayed at this cabin for 5 days. Overall, the cabin was really comfortable. The central air on hot July days was amazing! Great kitchen with everything you would need. 3 of the 4 bedrooms where very comfortable. One bedroom had a bed that was not good. Springs that had turned the mattress Rusty which of course made no one want to sleep on it and the kids we’re almost scared to go in it. Anyway, as far as the cabin, I’d say everything I’d ever want…until I realized there was no washer and dryer. I cried! 5 days, with kids, wet towels from the lake…it was the biggest let down ever!!! Now, speaking of the lake-it’s a ways. The stairs down to the actual water are not the worst, but just getting to those, way worse coming back, is bad! No where to hang out by the water. We brought our pontoon, barely, and mean barely could get it to the dock at the worst bait launch I’ve ever seen. My husband had to walk it thought a swamp to get it to our spot. The lake was amazing, once we got down to the boat and found some great jumping off spots! Also, we did bring our UTV and went on trails, which were awesome!!! And close! So overall I would not stay again unless there was a washer and dryer, and I’d only stay to go on the trails, not for the water.
