It was a very pleasant house, with all the comfort you need inside. Everything is quite new—the house was renovated about a year ago. The hosts were very attentive: the induction hob was faulty and got replaced the same day! We were VERY glad that all the bedrooms had fly screens to keep the mosquitoes out. This made it possible, with the handy fans provided, to cool the rooms at night. The house is very well located, with great views and easy access and parking. The pool was excellent and cleaned every three days by the team—great service. Sarlat and its surroundings are very charming. We particularly enjoyed Domme, Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, and the Jardins de Marqueyssac—all highly recommended.

Nothing the accommodation or hosts could do anything about: the mosquitoes. While sitting outside, we were each stung about 14 times and could only sit outside fully clothed. Luckily, the weather wasn’t very warm, so this was manageable. There is power outside, so perhaps a mosquito lamp could be a handy addition to help protect the seating area?
