Ranakeliya Lodge - Yala

I canonly say good things here. We stayed in the tent and it completely exceeded our expectations. The interiors looked even nicer than the pictures. It was a very cozy glamping experience, beautiful outdoor shower, and if you are careful with the zipper door to this area, you can manage zero mosquitoes in the room. There is even airconditioning which means you can sleep well before the early safari. The food was amazing, the staff super friendly and they offered to organise both drivers and safaris for us, even though we decided to organise it ourselves. We stayed 2 nights and are very glad we did. For this price I can’t imagine finding anything better.

Great place we ordered a Sri Lankan Curry one evening and to our surprise the staff had set our dining area in the garden with a candles, a bon fire and cold beer really nice.

its a hidden gem in Yala. staff is super friendly. food here is just awesome.

I loved the glamping-style stay (the room and bathroom were great).

I was quite disappointed by a couple of things. First, I was unable to rest because it was so noisy. I may have been unlucky (it was a bank holiday), but very loud music playing in a neighboring property and people were playing music quite loudly on their phones close-by. I also thought the staff's attitude was surprising for this kind of place: they were not very helpful or forthcoming.
