No 8 Bed & Bar

I was given a better room than I booked and was very grateful. It was very clean and I had a balcony and a coffee machine (pod). It was generally a really nice room. The bar staff are really lovely if you have issues or questions. It's nice and easy to find the 'bed' bit when you get there because there's a clear sign.

I had 3 main issues. Others have noted the noise in the evening/night. I've stayed in lots of places where the noise has been mentioned as an issue and they've never bothered me - this did, especially because it was incredibly hot so I had to choose between sweating or enduring the noise. It is very loud and on the Saturday I was there, it went until midnight. The heat was the second issue - to a large extent this was unavoidable, but it was compounded by the noise issue and the availability of fans would have been useful. If you can, I would close the shutters in the day to help if you stay during a hot spell. Lastly, I found the communication difficult. The person replying to me online was friendly and really trying to help, but what they said in response to my query about luggage store was that I could check in before the check out time. I checked this to be sure. When I arrived this wasn't possible (the electronic system wouldn't allow it and the bar staff tried to help but couldn't for this). There is however a luggage store. I also wish information was available about how and when the VIP pass arrives as it was hard to plan and I found the absence of information quite stressful (it's electronic and may take several hours to arrive after check in).

Super Lage – nur ein paar Schritte von der Gondelbahn entfernt. Wir hatten ein ganz tolles Zimmer und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders angenehm war, wie ruhig es im Haus war – von den anderen Gästen haben wir überhaupt nichts gehört. Ein absolutes Highlight war die Badewanne mit Sprudelfunktion direkt im Zimmer. I love it! Nach einem langen Tag einfach perfekt. Auch der Check-in war sehr unkompliziert. Wir konnten alles vorab online erledigen und am Freitagabend unseren Schlüssel ganz einfach in der Bar abholen. Genauso unkompliziert war der Check-out: Schlüssel in die dafür vorgesehene Box werfen und fertig. Wir waren während einer Veranstaltung in Verbier dort und am Samstagabend gab es draussen Musik. Uns hat das überhaupt nicht gestört. Für lärmempfindlichere Gäste lagen im Bad sogar Ohrstöpsel bereit – eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit, die ich wirklich toll fand. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer war wunderschön! Sehr praktisch fanden wir auch den kleinen Kühlschrank und die Möglichkeit, morgens direkt im Zimmer einen Kaffee zuzubereiten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Uns hat eigentlich nichts gefehlt. Ein Frühstück wäre noch schön gewesen, aber wir wussten vorher, dass keines angeboten wird – und für den ersten Kaffee am Morgen war im Zimmer gesorgt.

Accueil téléphonique et par le personnel du bar très agréable ! Check-in en ligne et sur tablette pour l’enregistrement à l’arrivée, très simple j’adore 😍 Chambre standard 12 m2 au rez-de-chaussée agréable avec coin machine nespresso, bouilloire et petit réfrigérateur ! Très bien situé au centre et le bruit plus que raisonnable ! Pour le départ la Dame qui s’occupe de l’entretien des chambres m’a proposé de l’aide pour les bagages 🧳 un grand merci à elle ! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir ☀️

Un petit détail mettre à disposition un ventilateur mais ne nous a pas dérangé car nous avions pris le nôtre !

Great location, easy self check in and out.

Very small room size we ran into things trying to move around. Bottle recycling being dumped outside is very loud and the room was noisy. Mould in fridge and bathroom.
