Location, location, location. It was also extraordinarily helpful to have on-street parking with a staff member looking after the cars. The AC was greatly appreciated during a heatwave. The staff was super kind.
The mattress needs to be replaced. It was very uncomfortable. Light in the hallway made it difficult for us light-sensitive people to sleep. The problem was compounded by no blinds to dawn — a simple solution for a nagging problem. The shower head needs to be replaced. The breakfast left a lot to be desired in terms of quality and schedule, but the next-door cafe made up for it. I did not mind eschewing the hostel breakfast for an inexpensive alternative steps away.
