Studio Batiment B by Interhome

Studio très propre et bien équipé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la situation géographique du logement qui est situé à proximité du centre ville, de la gare ferroviaire chamonix-aiguille du midi et juste en face du téléphérique pour l’aiguille du midi. De plus, la carte d’hôte remise à notre arrivée nous a permis de voyager gratuitement en train dans la vallée.

Mauvaise insonorisation et canapé lit peu confortable.

The checking in and out process is inconvenient. The "interhome" office is 10-15min walk each way from apartment. You have to go there to pick up and drop off the key. If you are coming to Chamonix by bus this is a hassle.

The perfect place for a budget ski holiday! the apartment is spacious and comfortable, in a quiet yet central location and has everything you need. the sofa bed is very comfortable and feels like a normal bed, not rickety or squeaky as expected. the Interhome staff were also exceptionally friendly and helpful. the apartment is warm and clean with beautiful Mountain View’s. The bathroom and shower is particularly nice with a very luxurious shower, ideal after a day of skiing. We loved it so much we are already planning to book for our next trip to the mountains!

While the location is very central, it isn’t as close to the lifts as it looks on the map. The closest Gondola, Aiguille du Midi, doesn’t actually take you to a ski area however the buses are very easy and convenient with the closes stop about 3 minute walk away.

- You have to pay extra for sheets, towels and WiFi. The WiFi was over €50. Absolutely ridiculous! - The communication from the booking company was very poor. I was never sent clear instructions about where to pick up the keys. When I messaged and emailed, I got no response - The studio is very very small. I am used to staying in studios, but this place is really tiny. Fine for one person, but not enough room for 2 - You have to collect the keys and the sheets in a different location to the studio, and then return the keys and dirty sheets afterwards. This was a hassle. I would not stay here again. It was grossly overpriced, poor communication, and ridiculous having to pay extra for basic items.
