The breakfastwas excellent, and we received all the information we needed in a text message while we were en route to the village.

There were no windows in my room, though my friends had two. I would also recommend that you leave information specifically for hikers on the Via Francigena. Give hikers easier access to restaurant information, walking times, and whether reservations are needed.

Really nice, spacious and comfortable room. The small complex is located in an almost vehicle free village with an amazing atmosphere and located in between the mountains. The bed was excellent as was the bathroom.

The breakfast was great. We loved the location. Coffee was excellent. Decor in the room was great, loved the Italian tiles and lighting. Beautiful attention to design.

We were met upon arrival by a barking dog and although it turned out to be friendly I have an aversion to being greeted by a barking dog. Staff member was unfriendly perhaps due to my discomfort as she was later also when queried about ventilation. We did not know we had booked a room without a window and even though there were obvious air-conditioning control panels in the room, we could not operate them. We were told a little grumpily by the staff member the next day there was no air-conditioning. It was hot and we chose to sleep with the front door open although this felt a little unsafe. Bed was squeaky but comfortable. The key pad info turned out to be a simple key. Unsure whether the keypad worked. Booking.com did not give us info about the name of our room so we wandered around and wouldn't have guessed it was the room we were shown as this door was wide open, presumably to air it out on a hot day, although we arrived approx 5pm.
