Sunbird Beach Resort

Location of the unit( we had plenty of access to restaurants and shops), beautiful view and weather. Pineapple Willes right next door. The rooms are fairly close to parking. Called Southern Vacation Rentals because we booked through booking.com. SVR had someone drop off another cover and some soap for the sink areas. We called SVR again because the shower wasn't working and they put a wrench on the knob in bathroom shower so it would work temporarily. SVR staff was nice and tried to make our stay more comfortable. SVR also let us in an hour early because our room was ready. They were easy to get ahold of and responded very quickly.

Bed was very hard, cover had stains on it, shower handle was broken, rickety furniture in bedroom (with knobs missing. The worn, dingy cabinets and dinged up furniture made the unit we stayed in look dirty. Sunbird had alot of maintenance being done to it. Some of the areas were unaccessible (took away from the beauty/cleanliness of the resort). The amount of money we spent to stay there was pretty high with the issues we had there (not mentioning had to pay for wrist bands and parking on top of that). There are plenty of choices to stay at in PCB, but we like staying at Sunbird because it is quaint and usually kept nice and clean some of the standards have slipped. There was alot of people's trash on the way to Pineapple Willies right in front of Sunbirds resort. (It is sad that people can't throw their trash away or be respectful of the owners units).

Staff was amazing !!! Especially the guards at the gate !! Always helpful and very polite !

The fact HOA couldn’t do squat about the people bext to us banging their door !! Do better !!!
