The Space:
This two-bedroom cabin offers a western ambiance with spectacular views of the beautiful Cedar Forest. Located very close to the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort, this property offers everything a guest would need for their mountain vacation. Ptarmigan Village is a highly sought-after resort community nestled just over half way up Whitefish Mountain Resort and just minutes from downtown Whitefish, MT.
With 896 square feet spread across three levels, you`ll find an open great room and kitchen on the main floor of the property. This spacious room has large picture windows facing the cedar forest, providing an incredible back drop. Featured in the center of the room sits a large fireplace shared by the dining area that comfortably seats 4-6 people. Please contact the reservation department for specific information.
This property includes a fully equipped kitchen, with everything you need to prepare a great meal during your stay. One of the highlights of this property sits its large deck with outdoor dining and a propane BBQ.
On the lower level you`ll find the master Queen bedroom and an additional bedroom with a bunk bed (2 twins) and a full-sized bed. Also located on the bottom floor is a recently remodeled bathroom. Parking is free and available for a maximum of two vehicles; If you have any oversized vehicles such as Motorcycles, trailers and RV`s the Village does have room in our oversized parking areas. Please speak to our reservationist if you need assistance with parking options.
Don`t forget that Ptarmigan Rentals offers many amenities including access to the indoor pool, sauna, hot tub, outdoor pool, tennis courts, private beach area and so much more. Ptarmigan Village is a spectacular location just two miles below the world-renowned Whitefish Mountain Resort ski area and a short 10-minute drive to downtown Whitefish, Montana. This unique location features unrivaled access to all of the best that Whitefish has to offer and is less than 45 minutes to Glacier National Park. During the winter months Whitefish features some of the best skiing in North America. This skier’s paradise, which boasts legendary runs like Hell Roaring Basin, Home Again, Tree Trails, and Ptarmigan Bowl which have long been known for steep terrain and abundant snowfall and was once widely considered a playground for only the hardest charging skiers and dedicated adventurers. However, in recent decades it has been transformed. With expanded intermediate and beginner terrain and multiple new lifts, and runs the Whitefish Mountain Resort has evolved to meet the needs of skiers of all abilities with over 98 trails. Pets are not permitted in any of the Ptarmigan Rental properties during short-term rental stays. Service dogs are permitted with notification and completion of proper paperwork prior to making the reservation. Montana does not recognize Emotional Support Animals as service animals, property owners are not required to accept ESA documentation. Guests traveling with ESA or Service animals are directed to call the Ptarmigan Rentals office to inquire about options.

WE ARE A PRIVATE COMMUNITY LOCATED ON 52 FORESTED ACRES OF LAND ON BIG MOUNTAIN The condo is part of Ptarmigan Village and it is located between downtown Whitefish and the ski, bike and hiking trails of the Whitefish Mountain resort. The village has access to an heated indoor salt water pool, wet sauna, outdoor hot tub and a seasonal outdoor pool. There is a tennis court, pickleball net set up, playground for the kiddos to enjoy along with private access to the Whitefish Beach area, which all is part of the Ptarmigan Village amenities.

Unit was as described and great for our family of 5. No issues and the only thing that would have made it better was in unit washer/dryer, but the laundry building was close.
