About this chalet rental
Facing the Col de la Croix de Fer, in the Maurienne, in the small village of Montrond at the foot of the emblematic Aiguilles d'Arves, at an altitude of 1600m, the Chalet Saint-Roch offers:
- magnificent cathedral living room of 125m2 with bar
- 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, 10 toilets.
No attic rooms. No bunk beds.
- Large kitchen, laundry room, ski room, private parking. Large private area around the Chalet: children can sledge and play safely.
2 ski resorts:
- Les Sybelles (4th largest ski area in France linking La Toussuire, Le Corbier to St Sorlin and St Jean d'Arves): 300km of slopes 15 minutes from the Chalet (10km) from St Sorlin d'Arves,
- Albiez le Vieux, village resort 10 minutes from the Chalet (7km) at the Col du Mollard (ski schools). Ideal with young beginner children.
No shuttle bus to access these stations: vehicle essential.
Ski touring, sledging & snowshoeing in a sublime environment from the Chalet.
NB: the use of the central fireplace is NOT allowed.
A full week's rental may be required at certain times (Christmas, New Year, etc.)
