The property is surrounded by hills and greenery, which gives it a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere, especially during the monsoon and winter seasons. The rooms are simple and functional. They’re reasonably clean, though not luxurious, and suitable for short stays with friends or family. Some areas of the property could benefit from better maintenance, but overall it gets the basics right. The resort has a relaxed, laid-back vibe with open spaces to sit and unwind. It’s not packed with high-end amenities, but there’s enough to keep you comfortable for a weekend break. The pool and outdoor areas are enjoyable, especially for groups. Food is average — more homestyle than fancy — but it’s filling and works fine for a short stay. Service is generally courteous, though response times can vary depending on how busy the resort is. Overall, Hill Rock Resort is a decent choice if your priority is nature, affordability, and a no-frills getaway. It’s best suited for casual trips rather than luxury stays, but it delivers a calm environment and a nice break from city noise.

    Hillrock resort ticks all the boxes for a clean, comfortable stay for a family with kids : large, airy rooms with clean baths, swimming pools, in house restaurant, space designated for outdoor activities with bonfire, etc. However, it's the little details that are overlooked. What was missing: Electric kettles in the rooms, attendant/life guard at the pool (or even markings that mention the depth of the pool), adequate seating/lounge chairs around the pool & pest control in the restaurants. Having breakfast with flies buzzing around was a major red flag. Given the rather remote location of the resort, there were no other options for breakfast without flies. An electric kettle in the room would have helped us at least fix Maggi .
