Nous avons cherché un lieu central pour pouvoir aller randonner dans les alentours le long de la mer (vers La Hague notamment). Nous ne voulions pas rester en plein centre de Cherbourg et donc avons fait le choix d'aller chez Claudia (accueillante, d'origine roumaine, parfaitement intégrée et parlant très bien le français). Très bonne communication (sur différents domaines de la vie). Le mari de Claudia est médecin donc si vous séjournez là et tombez malade, vous pourriez l’appeler à l'aide. :-))
La maison se trouve dans un quartier résidentiel paisible en hauteur de colline et donnant quasiment une vue sur la mer au loin. Des commerces ne sont pas loin. Notre "studio", en sous sol, est conforme parfaitement aux photos en ligne. Tout ce qu'il faut pour bien se reposer au calme s'y trouve. Un beau nid douillet. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir eu un temps idéal avec un ciel bleu et le soleil. Tout était auspicieux !

We stayed just one night before catching our ferry, traveling with our large dog and our cat, and honestly, it couldn’t have gone better. Everything was exactly as described, if not even better.
The host was really kind and understanding, and super easy to communicate with. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming, even though we arrived quite late (sorry again about that, and thank you for being so accommodating!).
We’re really grateful for the stay and would happily recommend this place to anyone.
