Wonderful stopover point in Normandy

Sparkling clean, spacious property with everything you need for your stay. The host was very kind and respectful, showed us around the property and helped with any issues we had. Located in a quiet area, with spacious on-property parking - it's a wonderful stopover point in Normandy. Great value for money. They even had toys, high chair, and cot for the kid.

Location and accessibility from Cherbourg and to the seaside resorts on the coast. Valognes was a pleasant spot.

Access to bedroom via narrow staircase was a bit challenging for one 81 year old awaiting a replacement knee and also no bathroom on the same level as the bedroom. Another challenge in the night!

The perfect home away from home

This was the perfect spot. The owner himself greeted me, explained the apartment layout and handed me the keys. I liked the parking space and the fact that the gate had a remote lock. Felt very 007 esque!!!!! The apartment was huge; a sitting room cum diner, small kitchen, perfect back yard with table and chairs. Bathroom with shower, excellent water pressure. Toilet in the hall. Upstairs, two bedrooms. The property is down a small road and it's so quiet and only about 5km to the nearest big town Valognes. If you would like a nice repas du midi, go to E leClerc in Valognes. The staff there was so helpful. Je vous remercie infiniment de votre accueil et j'ai passe un tres bon sejour chez vous.

Very friendly owners. We decided to have breakfast last-minute, which was really nice. We were heading to Cherbourg Ferry Terminal, so this was a very nice stay.

Location great - quiet but easy access to all places of interest. Good restaurants nearby and in Valognes. Secure parking and courtyard. Dog friendly. Hosts lovely - a warm welcome. Comfortable and very clean.

Het is een heel compact huis waar teveel (kinder-)rommeltjes staan. Het is heel schoon.

Het is een mooi eenvoudig huis. Alles is er aanwezig. Het is tamelijk compact m.n. de keuken. Heel fijn is de ruime parkeergelegenheid achter een gesloten hek waar we ook onze ebikes veilig konden laten staan. Mooie tuin.

Het bed had geen dekbed maar was opgemaakt met een laken/deken. Het was ook wat rommelig o.a. door kinderspeelgoed en kinderattributen.

Une arrivée très sympathique avec l accueil du propriétaire.très belle pièce de vie d une propriété parfaite ! Un petit séjour pour une compétition des mes jeunes ou nous avons oublié un manteau et portefeuille w le propriétaire nous l’a rapporté au départ de la course de mes filles sachant qu il me trouverait . Un grand merci pour cette convivialité . Au plaisir de se revoir pour une prochaine occasion.

Okolica domku po prostu cudowna, domek duży, przestronny, czysto i wyposażony we wszystko.. Właściciele są bardzo mili i uprzejmi.. Jedliśmy cudowne śniadanie.. dostaliśmy do śniadania dżemy, prawdopodobnie domowej roboty, jeden z nich był chyba śliwkowy (ciemny kolor) przepyszny.. Jechaliśmy 20godzin z Polski na prom do Irlandii.. byliśmy zmęczeni i na górze w sypialni zasnęliśmy i obudziliśmy się mimo długiej trasy bardzo wypoczęci.. dodatkowo jest dużo zabawek i gier dla dzieci, Nasz synek 5lat cały poranek bawił się LEGO oraz grami zręcznościowymi.. Myślimy wrócić do Was w lato, ponieważ chcemy na spokojnie odkryć piękno Normandii.. Dziękujemy za wszystko...
