Nice quiet location

This property owner is fraud. The room that was shown in the pictures on booking.com was different. They showed a bedroom in advert but when we got there they gave us the ground floor sitting room with a double bed in it..! No cupboards and no lock on the door no windows. we used to slide the sofa in front of the door at night for security and would carry our valuable items with us whenever we go out. We booked it for 38 days as my daughter had to take her GCSE exams there and we could not afford to move as it would disrupt her studies. No wardrobe, we had to keep our clothes in the suitcases. There was a tv cabinet but the owner had her stuff and they were full of all the owner's stuff. One day into the accommodation and the shower was broken, it was all rusty anyway. The radiator in kitchen was just hanging for its life and the house had a particular smell. Dirty rug, no vacuum cleaner was there which we took outside and cleaned it. The freezer was full of owner's stuff and we were unable to use it. No windows to open on hot summer days and nights as it was ground floor sitting room. We left it two days early as soon as my daughter's exams finished, as it was not pleasant living there. worst of all when we left the owner started harassing us and asking for more money- reason? She started blaming us for some marks on the mattress. Imagine that... first I asked her politely if she can prove that we made those stains but when she became really nasty and we denied her claims as she did not had any proof whatsoever that those stains were new. Absolutely pathetic place to rent.

The location is good.The The owner is so friendly and helpful. The room is so comfortable. Room, bathrooms, and kitchen are always clean.

Niv was lovely and the room was clean.

the advert stated private bathroom but another person was renting the room opposite mine and shred the bathroom with me. the worst thing was that he went toilet twice without shutting the door. no one wants to be around a stranger on a toilet for god sake.
