The rental has a complex rental process compared to anything I have rented before. I didn't like that pricing did not include the usage of air conditioning in the upstairs without another $25 per night surcharge. Upstairs is unuseable without the air conditioning. Also, the rental unit company mandates you buy a insurance policy through them at an extra charge or go through a complex certified cash deposit process. The property management company will send you more paperwork to read and sign then anything I have seen. I received 23 emails prior to arriving. When I arrived, the front kitchen window was unable to close completely and the lock was not able to lock leaving the apartment unsecured. The second day, management company hired someone to cut a dowel to try to keep it halfway secured. They do not cover theft but don't supply a secure unit. Upstairs air conditioning wasn't working and then put out minimal cold air after having management company show up to attempt to reset the unit. This was very disappointing when you pay extra for a unit that isn't functioning correct.
