Remontées d'odeurs par le siphon de la salle de bain

This property is in the middle of Barcelonnette which is a lovely little town and within walking distance of the shops, several restaurants and a supermarket. There is no private parking for this property but free public parking is available right outside except on the 2 market days when other car parks are only a very short walk away. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay.

This is a small attic apartment which the photos make very clear but there were a couple of additional photos that made it look like there was access to a meadow which is not correct. The apartment is on the 5th floor! There is a lift in the apartment block but it only goes up to the 4th floor and you then need to walk up the stairs to access the apartment which people with mobility issues need to know about and this wasn't in the property description. There are no comfortable chairs to relax in, only the bar stools which are uncomfortable to use after a while. Unfortunately the shower and bathroom sink are not isolated from the sewers and the smell was often not very nice. The owner's clothes, kitchen cupboard and bathroom items were in the apartment and there was no space for my own things plus it made me feel a bit like an interloper. The bed (which was very comfortable) is tucked right under the eaves where the ceiling is very low at the head end and a couple of times I skinned my head after waking up and trying sit upright forgetting the ceiling is very low at that point!

Buona posizione e foto rispecchiano la realtà

Sporco e odore persistente dal bagno, l'host ha detto di tappare il buco della doccia in modo che non uscisse odore ma non bastava. È stato necessario tenere la finestra aperta tutto il tempo, anche di notte. Per quanto riguarda la sporcizia, c'erano briciole, polvere, capelli e peli anche sulle lenzuola, tanto da non usarle ma usare le mie.
