Seegeluk, magnificent beach house in De Kelders

It is a wonderful get away comfortably for 8 people. Great location and very attentive hosts. The agent I. Charge had to replace the dishwasher after the other one broke. So we had a day of inconvenience. But the hosts and agent gave us a wonderful gift parcel of chocolates and wine to apologise for the inconvenience. We truly appreciated it. We stay a lot on the overstrand coast and the hospitality the agent and the owners showed us, is world class. Attending to issues is par of the course and you everyone did very well in that regard to show they they wanted to make our stay comfortable. It’s the small things that count.

One area of concern was the septic tank from next door and quite often there would be a whiff from the septic tank. It wasn’t always overwhelming but it is something to address wit the neighbours. The hosts and agent gave up ample reasons why it wasn’t them. We still loved the place and experience overall and got the reasons and the service of the hosts septic tank done recently.

We truly loved our stay at this exceptional beach house! Fantastic location just above Stanford's Cove (a sheltered beach) and a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Overstrand region. As an extended family (two couples, three teens and grandparents), the sleeping arrangements and number of bathrooms suited us perfectly. It has all the conveniences of a modern home, and plenty of beach towels are provided. Best of all is the covered stoep with braai, and open plan kitchen-dining-living area with panoramic views.

Nothing to fault other than.... sharp knives needed in the kitchen!
