Carvetii - Norman House - 2nd floor, 1 bedroom flat

Convenient location, apartment was nice and had what we needed. Very comfortable, people were nice.

Stairways a little sketchy, not enough lights outside.

Fantastic location for our needs - half hour to 45 minutes to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Fife. Shopping was great with Tesco and Lidl.

The inside of the property was clean and tidy, great kitchen every you need for a self contained apartment. Walking distance was amazing. A Lidl straight across the road and a Tesco too. No lift so two stories of stairs to the apartment. Awesome TV and plenty of space. Very nice inside. Bo’Ness had so much character of beauty and a great walking town to enjoy. 45 minutes from Edinburgh.

1. There is no onsite parking as described as the 8 cars along the road of the building have been sitting there for so long some had flat tyres. It wrong to advertise with parking as our only option was to park in the Lidl grocery store car park which was wasn’t idea. 2. The outside of the building is quite concerning. The exterior building is very unkept and security cameras surrounding the stairwell. Rubbish loaded outside residence front doors and yard looks in poor maintenance. Felt unsafe when we first arrived yet realised the blocks building is poorly managed. 3. There are two outdoor flood lights that turns on at night for security. It’s so bright and can’t be turned off causing a floodlight effect into the main bedroom and hallway from 9pm till 6am . The master bedroom curtain doesn’t block the blaring light. This photo of the front door was taken at 2.30 am in the morning to show how bright the light is. 4. The doona insert bedding for the sofa bed has so many stains, I recommend you throw it out and purchase a new one. Whilst these reviews may seem harsh. The inside is a great apartment if you can get over the no parking and feeling of rubbish yard.
