Nice clean place. Comfortable furniture and dog friendly. Off the beaten path, so quiet and private, but near enough to where we wanted to be. The deer in the neighborhood are abundant!

Let's start with communication. Emailed the host three times, twice before our check-in date and once while there and no response. The interior is fine and the air conditioners work great. The speakeasy smells and the p-trap under the kitchen sink has a leak (they even had a plastic shoebox underneath to catch the water). It can be fixed for less than $10 in materials. Also killed 3 scorpions in the house - we stayed four nights.
The exterior is something else. Weeds up to my knees and some even higher. The fire pit outside the backdoor is unusable because of the weeds. You can basically walk from the driveway to the door on pavers and that's about it, due to the weeds.
If you plan on just using this as a place to sleep and don't mind if you have to kill a scorpion or two, you'll probably be ok with it. If you book this place and are planning to take advantage of the fire pit or grill on the front porch/deck, might want to ensure the weeds have been cut.
