Good location, Unethical owner

Location is very near to Metro station, Train station and bus routes. Apartment itself is spacious, neat and was very well furnished.

Lift is extremely small and can barely fit 1 person with luggage. Owner gave only 1 key despite requesting for 2nd and hence you can't leave apartment for anything without going together. There was no intercom to let your spouse open the door and hence she has to throw the key from window or come down 4 floors to let you enter. Key plastic was damaged during transfer from windows in 1 instance and owner claimed 220 euro while key was perfectly operational all the time, only key plastic damaged. It was unethical & unprofessional as well as extremely surprising after staying almost 8 days paying hefty rent and refusing 2nd key and having no other way to enter apartment for 2nd person.

Great stay in the heart of Montparnasse

It is very well located, just around the corner of rue de la Gaité (heart of Montparnasse), very well communicated with a Metro Station 10 meters a way, a train station (Gare Montparnasse) a 100 meters away, bus stops, and full of services (bakeries, super markets, cafés, restaurants, etc). And despote that, is not noise. Also the apartment is very confortable with good size for thé 3 of us and it has 2 bathrooms with douche!. Salomon our host was very friendly and supportive.

We had a minor incident with a bathroom door that I locked accidentally and there was no way to open it as there was no key to unlock it, so our host had to call a locksmith, which it costed 70 euros and I had to pay for that. I was told this had never happened before to any other guest, but I think that if there had been another door lock type or a spare key this wouldn’t have happened. A fair deal would have been me payi g 50% and my host thé other 50%. I’m not sure if Booking.com has a way to solve easily situations like this

Conveniently located modern flat

We had a lovely stay at the flat, which was really suitable for four guests. It is an added bonus that there are two bathrooms in the property, which made our stay more comfortable. The property is clean and modern and has most things you would need for a short stay (the kitchen is stocked with plates and cutlery, coffee machine and good sized fridge). Salomon was a great host, very responsive and attentive! The flat is also located close to two metro stations, so it is very convenient to get anywhere in the city.

Since the windows overlook a busy street, the flat is flooded by the light from the streetlamps at night which can be bothersome when you're trying to sleep. It would be nice to install blackout curtains. That said, the area is still quiet and we slept well. But it would be nice to have the opportunity to make the rooms darker at night.

アーリーチェックインについてブッキングコムから費用はかからないとお知らせ頂いていたのに当日４０€の請求がありフランス語で怒鳴られ支払わないと泊まらせないといわれた上司の方が話にならず一方的に話し埒があかなかったとても不愉快だった💦
