Would stay again

The staff was very nice, we had free wifi, close metro station, nice bars and retsaurants near the hotel and it was cleaner than what we expected.

The bed was soo uncomfortable, it had a dent in the middle. The location had a lot of nice bars, restaurants but there were a few sketchy people roaming in the area

It was close to city center

1. The hotel room had nothing same with the room pictures shown on booking.com. Please see attached picture 2.There wasn't a proper window in the hotel room, just something like an air vent. Please see attached picture. 3.The room was covered in mold. I took photos. Please see attached picture 4. All the furniture, especially the curtains, were torn and very old. Please see attached picture 5.The room was not clean. It was full off dirty and mold. Please see attached picture 6.There was no hand drying towel. 7.The sound and heat insulation in the rooms was practically zero. I couldn't sleep until Saturday night because of the noise coming from next door room or rooms in same flat. 8.Based on above experience and explanation, I kindly request from you to pay back money which I paid for this stay.

A cheap and basic room in an amazing location inside Paris.

Location is amazing . Lots of restaurants and cafes serving a diverse range of cultural dishes. Opposite the metro station.

The room wasn’t very safe as the window doesn’t lock securely. The room was really hot at night as the window with curtain faces to the summer sun all day and doesn’t cool down.

Very central to the metro. A lively neighbourhood with plenty of access to bike infrastructure.

Many small items in disrepair that left the feeling of being unkept. Headboard was just laying against the wall, shower head wasn’t attached to the shower, it just hung on the ground. You had to hold the shower head with one hand to shower.

This is the worst hotel we have stayed in ever. You should be ashamed of your links with this hotel.

There was nothing I can say that I liked. What I would like is a full refund and you and the local fire authorities to check this joint out.

The hotel was being renovated with plastic sheeting all over the staircases and hotel corridors. Work was going on up to seven pm on the day we arrived. As part of this work fire doors were jammed open all night. The room clearly required a lick of paint. The shower soap dish holder was a piece of wood screwed into the tiles. The tv did not work and we asked for another remote control. The second remote control did not work either. There is night club adjacent to the hotel. There was loud music and noise from 9 pm until 3am in the morning. We had a check in at the airport at 7.35 am that morning and got no sleep. The hotel has changed its name from Petit Bastille to Central Bastille. It still has the old signage on the facade. I suspect some re-badging going on here due to the state of the place. You can check this out yourself on Google maps.

The room looked nice and was in an interesting location. I give it a 5.0 because it gets the job done of being a place to sleep for the night. Would not stay longer or return again

The bathroom was dirty: old, white stepping towel with black shoe prints was on the ground; it smelled nasty in the restroom consistently. Duvet and our towels also had small stains. Was a bit pricey considering dirtiness and having only stayed one night.

Good value for the price.

Very conveniently located, close to the Gare de Lyon train station and to the underground, in a lively neighborhood. My room was at the back of the building, and therefore quiet, except when the neighbours decided to through a party. Rooms are small but clean. Friendly staff.

The noise from a nearby building but that is not the hotel's fault.

one of the filthiest places I ever Been. should not be called a hotel at all

there was nothing likeable.

The hotel was really dirty by all means. not clean sheets, they never changed the towels. the room cleaning for them was just to make the bed.there is no proper bed as well. you sleep and you can touch the beds material, the mattress, or is not a real one or it is so old that you can sink in it. the bathroom is so small that you literally can make only one step inside. it was also smelly. the walls are full with marks and we found ants walking around the room. The place is like a prison. one of the worst that I ever seen and I ve been around a lot. the only good think is the location. so close to metro and some good boulangeries around to eat

I got what I expected.

Great location right next to the metro station. Super nice and helpful staff. Taking into consideration the overall prices in Paris, I paid fair money for the location. Do not expect anything other than a bed and a small bathroom. Other comments will give you a good idea. I got what I expected and I wasn't unhappy. Communicate your concerns and the staff will do everything they can to meet your needs.

Poor wifi, on upper floors. Stairs will be a problem if you have mobility issues.

Passable

Great location! This is an older building with Place de Bastille 100 meters away and some decent restaurants within very easy walking distance. Be prepared to use stairs, as there is no elevator. The staff and especially the receptionist, Mohammed, were great and very helpful to me!! Rooms were clean, if spartan. The beds (we had two singles) need a major upgrade. Overall, I think the place was work the money for the location and especially for friendly help we received.

Beds need to be replaced. Height of beds was low and mattresses are in need of replacement. The room was clean. The bathroom was small, but sufficient. As mentioned before, staff was excellent and much appreciated!

it’s a simple run down - like student flat at Uni - but it’s about expectations - there was nothing I saw that suggested that the owners didn’t care - just lack of investment

Room was hardly cleaned, I've slept on tile floors softer than the mattresses. Bathroom terribly smelly, with previous people's rubbish still in bin. 24 hour reception but no noise control towards loud neighbours at 4am.

Friendly and welcoming staff; excellent location right in Bastille, a simple place to sleep

- Very friendly and welcoming staff. Always offered a cup of coffee when I sat down in the waiting area. Reception was manned 24h. Nothing to criticize here. - Excellent location right in the hard of Bastille, 30 second walk to the metro station - perfect if you like the buzz of nightlife. Request a room at the back of the house if you are sensitive to noise. - If you just want a bed, bath and a roof over your head whilst being in central, than this is fine to go. Do 'not' expect any great luxuries or fine decoration. - Good Wi-Fi but only to rooms close to the reception.

- The Wi-Fi was at the front but did not reach to the back of the hotel. - There was a slight odors of food in the corridor from the restaurant, however nothing in the room. - Shower curtains could be cut shorter for hygiene reasons.

J’ai aimée la réactivité des réponses, L’accueil du personnel répondant à toute demande et très souriant. Les serviettes, brosses à dents les gobelets et plusieurs prises et usb et type c aussi qui est très confortable.

Il y avait un bout de tapisserie et une ampoule griller et Je dirais que des serviettes supplémentaire pour sécher les cheveux ou un sèche cheveux serais appréciable mais ça ne m’empêcheras pas de revenir dans cet établissement si j’ai un autres événement . Je recommande sachant que tous commence est as proximité
