Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, die Matratzen sind bequem, die Aussicht super, wir konnten unsere Wäsche waschen und es gibt einen extra Raum zum Aufhängen.
Kazu hat uns vom Bahnhof abgeholt und das Dorf gezeigt, zum großen Supermarkt gefahren und bei der Abreise sogar zum weiter entfernten Bahnhof gefahren.
Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt.

L’hébergement est impeccable et particulièrement soigné. Tout a été pensé pour assurer un séjour confortable, avec des équipements complets et de qualité. L’hôte est très attentionné et disponible.
La vue est magnifique et constitue un véritable atout du logement.
À noter toutefois que l’escalier permettant d’accéder à la chambre est très raide et peut ne pas convenir aux personnes à mobilité réduite ou rencontrant des difficultés de déplacement.

The house feels like a very Japanese experience. It’s very comfortable and equipped with everything you could need. The host is so generous and helpful. He went out of his way to help us as our car rental didn’t work out, picking us up from the station and taking our luggage to the station to meet us the next day. It was nice to have the space after living in hotel rooms for the past two weeks.
The town is very quiet and apparently only has one restaurant. But the house is close to the station and we went up to Koyasan twice. It’s nevertheless a 1.5hours journey all in, after train, cable car and bus. Almost everything closes around 6pm so it’s good to plan around that.

So many details that help make your short stay pleasant and easy, which unfortunately many hosts do not supply, such as a wealth of condiments and sauces, instant food packs and cooked rice etc etc and FRESH FRUIT in the fridge including some delicious strawberries.
A little bit isolated and difficult to find but if you want to go to Koya San you should know where you are going. Despite its isolation the host sends a series of photos that help you find your way.
