New Lisbon Center Apartment

The property was in a great location and close to many of Lisbon attractions.

Was on the small side. There were 2 of us with large suitcases that we could not keep open.

The owner was very helpful with helping us with our plans and suggesting places to go and eat. He also translated for us, and helped us with an outside problem, not related to the property.

There were a few problems in the apartment that needed to be fixed. The kitchen sink tap was very loose, it couldn’t be used, but the owner came to fix it. The toilet seat was broken on one side, and the owner was trying to get someone in to fix it, but we left before it was fixed. Which wasn’t a big problem. Otherwise, we liked the location, ut it was a little too small for us. .

It is not always easy to manage an apartment. Sometimes the previous tenant breaks something, or the traffic is hectic and cleaning staff arrive late. We stepped into the apartment on one of those days. After traveling Europe for a three month period and staying in one apartment after the other, we legitimately raised a few concerns. Despite denying that the kitchen cupboards were dirty, the manager arranged for another cleaning session. By the time the cleaner arrived during the evening, we had done the cleaning ourselves, but she did apologize in writing using a translation app. There are instruction signs everywhere. No place to hang clothes, only one small chest of drawers.
