We had tried to stay more centrally to town but no availability. Location was fine though - with small supermarkets nearby and a short drive to main shops and town centre. Parking was a bonus. Roads in and out of the area were all easy.
Host company was very communicative and quick to address any issue which was great. Good information inside property and on the website. Great bathrooms and bedrooms!
We did keep the curtains drawn in the main room as it is a large ground floor window looking onto a pavement and road which did not feel private. Some net curtains would help with privacy both in that room, the main bedroom and also the rear kitchen which has no curtains and large french doors overlooked by neighbours. .

Next door to an off license and about fifteen minutes walk from a parade of shops. Communication was easy, the property was spacious and clean with a nice back garden as well as a downstairs toilet.
The sofa had stains on from being cleaned multiple times, so should probably be replaced. Would have been nice to have cleaning products for the bathrooms. The large bedroom's bed was comfortable, but the people staying in the other rooms said their beds were very hard, although everyone has different preferences.

It had everything we needed to use the place as a base.
It wasn’t clean - the kitchen chairs and sofa were actually dirty (we cleaned 2 of the chairs so we could use them - see photos). The area wasn’t great - one night a guy was threatening to attack someone on the phone outside our window at 1am!! This is more like student accommodation (which is fine but definitely not worth £550 for 3 nights!!!). I use booking.com lots and am lucky to be able to leave good reviews - we had to deal with a third party to book this place, which took a deposit and passport details before giving us the code to enter the property, and then haven’t responded to any feedback - hence this review. Very very expensive for what it is… if we’d have seen photos of the area (or the sofa and chairs!!), we definitely wouldn’t have booked…
