Cozy Habitat

The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. The apartment was clean and had modern furniture including comfy bed. Very happy with my stay.

Great location, equiped with everything you need, liked it very much.

The place is renovated and clean. More space than a hotel. Basically full kitchen. Lovely bathroom.

Finding parking could take a few circles around block if it's later in the evening so be mindful of this. But I did find it and being from NYC I'm used to walking a few blocks if need be. It def needs to be stated that it is technically the first floor. You do go up steps to get inside but it's the first level. The front gate is grey not black. Needs to be changed in the description to get inside.

I recently stayed at this apartment and have mixed feelings about the experience. On the positive side, the apartment itself was cozy, the location is quite central, and the staff was friendly and responsive.

There are some serious downsides that future guests should be aware of. The listing says “West Hollywood,” but it’s actually located in Hollywood, which is a very different area — with a large number of homeless people around. The apartment is right next to the main entrance and a busy street, which made it extremely hard to sleep at night. Even as a heavy sleeper, I was woken up several times by people outside yelling things like “Please let me in” and “I’m cold,” which left me feeling scared and unsettled. I would not recommend staying here alone, especially as a woman. Another issue was the persistent bad smell in the apartment, particularly from the dishwasher and the shower in the bathroom. I tried candles and perfume, but nothing worked. The owner really needs to address this. In short, while the apartment has potential, the location and other issues made it a very uncomfortable stay for me.
