A wonderful time in Kauai, you definitely need a car on this island!
The resort itself is beautiful and I loved the pool. The unit is in nice location with a nice view.
-It was nice that they had sunscreen and beach mats available. One of the beach mats was torn. There were an ample set of towels
- I liked the goodie and care package that was left that was really nice!
The problem with this unit is it needs a lot of maintenance and updates.
-One of the overhead range lights was burned out.
-It was too hot. The AC ran continuously. The upstairs was an oven. They had a fan upstairs that was so loud it sounded like a fog horn! It needs to be replaced. Crazy to try to sleep with that.
-There’s a hole in the ceiling above the washer and dryer.
-The tub shower control is very difficult to use and hard to figure out. I finally figured it out but still hard to control. I struggled to turn it on. It needs to be repaired and replaced.
-The ceiling fan and light came on randomly in the middle of the night and the dishwasher came on one time unknown. I thought there was a ghost with me or an electrical problem. The cover in the upstairs bedroom closet would randomly open and the drawers, and the dresser wouldn’t stay closed.
- The unit needs instructions on how to run the dishwasher, what to do for check out instructions etc.
- bathroom is tiny. If there was three people staying there it will be very very tight needs more storage. The shower curtain is too small and won’t close all the way.
-The TV didn’t work right they have Roku and it just kept coming on back to the Roku main screen. I couldn’t figure it out. I didn’t watch TV. Again instructions would be nice. In this case. Maybe I didn’t know how to operate it.
-I would like to see them have some stationary and a pen for writing.
-bar soap should be provided especially when you go to the beach! The liquid soap doesn’t do the trick washing sand off, sunscreen, etc.
-The carpet needs to be cleaned.
