Because of old storms we were very leery about coming to the resort However the grounds were great the condo was wonderful the pools the jacuzzis all the amenities were great There were two very lovely beaches nearby The bigger stores are around the island so but there are neighborhood stores Practically everything you'll need will be at the resort Make some groceries of course They even have some Food trucks. My barely adult grandchildren had a great time as well my daughter and son self or all the chaos on the island We had a good time. The island was hit Hard They had quite a bit of damage. And typically Hawaiian ohana style they're pulling together and we wound up having a great time.

It rains a lot but this is a nice side of the island. We loved Bali Hai Villas. I’m sure we’d like to stay again. Never a problem with parking.

This resort is beautifully landscaped, and the units are comfortable and spacious. But although the surrounding scenery is spectacular, we found the immediate environment somewhat sterile. In terms of our unit, all was fine except that the coffee maker was the old-fashioned drip type, and the hanging closet was in the bathroom, not the bedroom, which was not convenient. Our biggest criticism is that the only food available on the property was from three food trucks, which were of limited appeal, and often closed. The one item we tasted was not high quality. The desk staff were all friendly but not super knowledgeable.
