10 minutes south of Uvita) and a two-bedroom nearby casita. The entire gated property and its 5 bedrooms are exclusively yours to enjoy!

Spacious property with several decks and large pool patio, grill and fresh natural breezes.

Osa Property Management’s Concierge and Vacation Planner team will contact you after you have made your reservation. We will assist with making any necessary transportation arrangements from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose (SJO), or one of the local regional airports in Palmar Sur or Quepos, to property in Ballena.
We will also arrange all excursions/activities/tours with reputable companies in the area, provide a link for grocery delivery, and make reservations at any restaurant. Our goal is to make your trip to Costa Rica enjoyable and as relaxing as you want it to be.
The home is located in Ballena, just south of Uvita.
Uvita is one of the Central Pacific's best kept secrets. The beaches are beautiful, the hills are lush, wildlife is abundant and its the perfect place to surf, horseback ride or just relax. There are wonderful restaurants, banks, grocery stores, bakeries and several National Parks.
If you are looking for a beautiful beach destination that is far less developed than Manuel Antonio, Uvita is a fantastic alternative. The highlight is Marino Ballena National Park, featuring the famous sandy "Whale Tail" where migrating humpback whales can be seen just offshore. You can whale watch, dolphin watch or snorkel.
Uvita also makes a great base for exploring Dominical (12 miles North) which is a fun, funky hippie and counterculturist enclave with great shops, dining, live music, candlelight yoga, spas, bars and beach.
The tiny town of Ojochal is 9 miles to the South and is known as one of the best foodie town in Costa Rica. Ojochal also offers easy access to Playa Ventanas, a small and beautiful beach famous for its sea caves.
For those who enjoy golfing, the southern pacific’s only golf course, Osa Golf Course, is an easy 20 minute drive south.
Ballena Bliss Estate is a private property with no shared spaces. Guests will have the exclusive use of the entire property and the swimming pool.
A 4x4 vehicle is always recommended, but other 2x4 vehicles can access the property (small vehicles will not make it to the house). Osa Property Management drives a 2x4 Toyota Escort Sport that can easily make it to the home.
This part of Costa Rica does not have UBER and private taxis are not always available.
The first floor of Ballena Bliss was designed to incorporate enjoyment with both the inside and the outside of the home, but blending into one connected space.
The second floor is where all three bedrooms of the main house are located (all bedrooms have air conditioners inside the room). The Owner's Suite and Bedroom #2 each have a work-desk in the room to provide privacy while working on a laptop.

Bedroom #2: Queen bed, A/C, patio/balcony access from the bedroom
Bedroom #3: Two-single beds, A/C
There is a bathroom on the second floor for the guests of Bedroom #2 and Bedroom #3 to share.
There is an amazing outside covered patio on the second floor available for Guests to enjoy the outdoors throughout the year. It's a great place to enjoy the breezes, the sounds of the jungle and to watch the ocean.
Pak-n'Play or Baby Travel Bed can be rented for an additional $50 USD (plus VAT) fee and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance
The casita is a two bedroom separate home available only for Guests at Ballena Bliss Estate. Each bedroom has its own A/C, kitchenette and bathroom.
Every vacation rental managed by Osa Property Management/Costa Rica Las Villas will have the following provided:

"A Hidden Gem with Breathtaking Ocean Views"Our group of 10 had an amazing stay at this Ballena Bliss luxury villa. The spacious layout, including an adjoining casita, provided plenty of room, and the second-floor balcony was a perfect spot to enjoy true Costa Rica jungle sounds and views of the Pacific. We loved gathering and relaxing by the pool, with a bar conveniently connected to the kitchen.The location was perfect—90 minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park, 50 minutes from Nauyaca Waterfalls, 30 min from Uvita Zipline and just 5 minutes to the secluded Playa Piñuela. The property manager was excellent with communication and gave great local recommendations.A fantastic spot for both relaxation and adventure!
