This amazing little cabin is a perfect place to get away and relax. We had a great time and enjoyed the river..it was just a short walk down the hill and that’s where we spent most of our time. We were planning our next trip before even checking out of the cabin. Thank you for hosting us and we can’t wait to visit again.

Great property, first time to stay on the Caddo River. Everything you could ask for in a river location. Sun, Shade, shallow water and deep swimming hole all in one place. My husband a catch and release fisherman caught a nice blue catfish and a bream. Beautiful view at sunset and close to town for groceries and close to Hot Springs for a nice day trip.

We loved the location and the cabin! I will say that the loveseat needs to be replaced and the outside furniture needs a refresh. But we did have a great time and would definitely come back!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was all as described. The hill is a little steep. We all had big trucks, one was a modified truck so his transmission didn’t like the hill very much. But once you get to the cabin, it’s all worth it! It’s gorgeous! We loved the easy access to the river and the quiet serene area. We used Lucky’s and floated down to our cabin (just leave a vehicle at Lucky’s and one at the cabin). We fished the river, suntanned, and just relaxed!

We really enjoyed this location! Great fishing, beautiful views, our teen boys loved the loft upstairs, and our little cove was perfect for the littles to play in, even with the river being too high to float the whole stay. We still enjoyed our inlet, and the wooden stands they have at the bank to store your floats, coolers, etc. The concrete driveway is SO STEEP though, so we felt more comfortable parking small cars down by the bank and driving the truck back and forth. Great stay, and we will be booking again.

We loved Nichols Hole! We had three of our grands to stay there with us, plus two more and their wives, and one great grandson who came for the day on Friday. Our son and his fiancée also stayed with us!! We hosted 9 family members for Thanksgiving dinner, then 18 were there on Friday! We had to put out folding chairs to seat everyone but there was plenty of room! Friday!!

The location(right on the Caddo) and cabin are beautiful, it’s close to restaraunts and town but feels like it’s miles away. We saw deer, otters, squirrel and my husband had A great time fishing. It was a very relaxing stay and we’d love to visit again!

The cabin was as advertised but it was too rustic and not well maintained. My wife did not like all the spider webs covering the windows and there were broken appliances. It would be the perfect cabin for hunting or fishing buddies but it was not a great fit for my girls.

We enjoyed our stay. I liked the seclusion in the wooded surroundings. The only issue we had was the steep entrance. We had two elderly people with us that found it difficult walking from their vehicle to the entry door of the cabin.

The cabin was perfect for a stay on the Caddo river. Me and my friends had a great time. The cabin is on a steep hill and down a gravel road but the cabin and the views are well worth it. It’s right on the river and great for fishing. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay on the river with friends or family I would 100% recommend it.

We had an amazing weekend at the property. Direct access to Caddo River made it a great place to stay! We parked the car on Saturday and didn’t leave till late on Monday. And an added bonus was we saw the total solar eclipse right from the back porch.

I have been on family vacations at least twice a year since my first born seven years ago. This was the first relaxing trip. Better than a beach, Disney, Sedona. It was a complete pleasure. We unplugged and unwound. A real miracle. We even made chocolate chip cookies. Thank you so much for a perfect stay. The roaring River after the first night's thunderstorm made the trip as well.

Our stay was great. The sound of the moving river was so relaxing. The cabin was comfortable, just as it was our very first stay here. Plenty of room for the family and everything we needed. We enjoyed our time Crater of Diamonds State Park, which was a short drive away. We definitely want to return, perhaps during the summer.

We loved our stay at this cabin on the Caddo River. The view is spectacular as the river runs around the property. It was so pretty and peaceful to listen to. The cabin was clean, beds comfortable, plenty of towels and the kitchen had every utensil, pot or pan that we needed to prepare our meals. The host was very responsive. We were already discussing how much we would love to come back in the summer. There is an area close to the river with a viewing deck, firepit, grill and picnic table that comes with the cabin. Two items to be aware of - the washer and dryer are in a separate outbuilding and the driveway is fairly steep (we were able to manage it in our minivan).

Our stay here was good. The cabin was clean and host was quick to respond to questions. We enjoyed hanging out by the river. The driveway is really steep and you have to walk or drive down to get to the river but everything else was great.

Myself and four other family and friends enjoyed the location of the place. It has it own swimming hole which was great. Ever so often tubers, kayakers, and canoes went by but that was not a problem. At night you can hear the water rushing by with other night sounds. That was so relaxing. I will return here in the future.

We had a great time. This is a beautiful cabin with a beautiful view. We played dominoes on the back deck while we had our supper. The only suggestion I have for future guests is if you have an SUV, go in it. My little car drug bottom topping the driveway. We had a great time.

The cabin location and stay was nice but we did have some hiccups. The first night we were there, we decided to lounge up and watch a movie together only to find out the Dish wasn’t working with an error displayed. We tried to use personal hotspot to stream a movie which we found the tv was not capable of WiFi. We even found the Blue-ray player was a smart Blue-ray player but no remote was located. We called the number provided on the paperwork and found it to be a previous owner that was sold to new owner months before this. The owner was then contacted about the issue and he was supposed to call dish and contact us back but no further communication was made from him in response and not fix was made for our 5 night stay. Of course we needed a relaxing getaway and we can watch tv at home but would have been nice to have something to do when the sun set. Overall we enjoyed the stay but we were pretty frustrated with some entertainment issues in the evenings when the sun set that could use some tech updates. If we had our kids with us, this would have been detrimental. First place I have stayed that didn’t have WiFi.

Beautiful place off to itself. Really enjoyed the stay. We did have some water supply issues trying to get everyone showered and the roadway could use some trimming. Great view of the river and away from the public. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to relax and stay for a few days.
