About this house rental
Apple Corners is one side of a duplex. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath and is newly remodeled. Wifi and smart tvs are in each bedroom and the living room. An open floor plan is ready for family to enjoy game night, some games and cards provided. Our chickens will provide you with 1 dozen free farm fresh eggs while you are here. Its quiet!Beautiful front deck to enjoy your coffee. We are 2 miles from Ossian and 14 miles from Decorah on a hard surface road. Close enough, but far enough away!!!

This is one side of a duplex, in the country, on hard surface roads. 14 miles from Decorah, 7 miles from Calmar, 2 miles from Ossian. Close enough, but far enough away. Enjoy peace in the country. You may see farmers planting or harvesting, or hear the coyotes. You might even see a pheasant or bald eagle!

Your space is a private 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, with a full kitchen condo. Stretch out in the open floor plan, or step outside on the front deck or patio. The front deck and patio is shared with the other side of the duplex, which is a LTR. But the inside of your STR is not accessible by anyone else.
Other things to note
We leave a dozen farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator for you to make breakfast. We leave apples that are grown on the property when in season, and we leave you a sample of locally grown popcorn with a popcorn popper.

Tami and her family were wonderful hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed the impromptu tour to see the chickens, bunnies, and chinchilla. We came to decorah to visit our daughter at Luther College, and this was the perfect place to stay. The home was very clean and spacious. The farm fresh eggs, apples, pears, and popcorn made for a tasty welcoming gift!

Very clean and great property. We loved sitting on the deck looking at the stars and watching the sun come up. Highly recommend staying here.
