About this house rental
Nice villa located on a larger headland in an area called Karlsnäs, 30 km south of Kalmar. From the house you have a nice view of a bay called Ekenäsviken. The surroundings are peaceful and rural. Within a short walking distance you will find a guest harbour, a nice swimming area with a sandy beach and jetty and a small charming "shop" that sells ice cream, snacks and drinks. The house has a spacious hall, a pleasant living room with comfortable seating, a wood-burning stove to burn in when needed and a dining area with an exit to the back. Next to the living room you will find the kitchen, which is practically planned. The house has four bedrooms with single beds in all except one which has a sofa bed. There is also a larger common room that can be used for quiet get-togethers. This is also equipped with a sofa bed. The bathroom is equipped with both a toilet and a shower cubicle. At the back there is a paved patio with partial evening sun, where you can sit and eat or just hang out. If you want to enjoy the view of the bay, sit on the veranda at the front. The surroundings are peaceful with walking paths along the water and older fine buildings. If you want to eat Italian food or coffee in a Mediterranean-inspired environment with a beautiful landscaped Mediterranean garden, you can go to Villa Famiglia Café & Bistro, which is only 5 minutes from the house. Here you can also buy Mediterranean plants, terracotta pots and garden furniture. You can also go to Stufenäs Gästgifveri, which is known for its fine food and its luxurious spa. You can get to Kalmar in 15 minutes. Here you will find many events and amusements during the summer and if you are interested in history, you can visit Kalmar Castle, Old Town with its winding cobbled streets that lead through Kalmar's medieval city center and the 300-year-old ship "Kronan". You can also take a trip to beautiful Öland, which has several attractions, including Öland's Zoo and all the fine sandy beaches there are. Bring bed linen and towels. Clean the house before you leave.
