Very peaceful and quiet just what we wanted they had 3 alpacas outside which we gave apples to it was also a perfect base for visiting places like this and harrogate
The floor creak alot in the lodge but maybe it was louder because of the quietness

Excellent accommodation. Very clean and well maintained, with everything you need. A lovely cosy Lodge in a beautiful location. Cheryl and Dave are fabulous hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The welcome pack was very much appreciated and the village pub Cheryl and Dave own was a welcoming retreat on a cold winter's night. The village is a fantastic base to explore Bedale and this beautiful part of North Yorkshire. There is so much to see and do. Our week at the lodge made our Christmas a very special one and we will be back.

Lovely cabin. Great time. Lamas. Comfy bed. Marvellous time had. Great dinner at the Blackhorse. Happy days.
Heating was set got a wee bit hot and couldn't adjust.
