Host was friendly and had clearly put a lot of thought into the facilities at the flat. Room, and especially the en suite shower room was generally clean. The place is very close to the town centre - a hop skip and jump from good pubs and the big new cinema.
This hotel is basically a guy running his two bedroom flat as a guest house - this is not a problem in itself, and he's clearly put a lot of thought into how to make for a comfortable stay. That said, the bed could use some investment. It was comfortable enough to sleep in, but the mattress has clearly had a harder life than it was built for. It felt like a cheaper model at the end of its life rather than a hotel mattress. This is absolutely a minor niggle, though, and my stay was definitely worth every penny of its low price.

I was in shock when I walked in! it was the nicest place. I slept on the sofa bed and it was comfy. I didn’t make the most of all the things in the apartment due to only being there one night. but omg. it’s perfect.
