Saphaothong guesthouse

We only have great things to say about this property. The staff were amazing and attentive. They offered to clean the room each day which was great. They were also very helpful with booking taxis to different places. They offered tours around vang vieng. Free drinking water station was available. The common area outside was comfortable. The room itself was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was lovely as it was about 5 minutes walk from the Main Street in vang vieng, still keeping a peaceful atmosphere away from the traffic.

Our WiFi didn't really work and was very weak connection

The rooms are really spacious, comfortable and they have everything you need. The place was super clean every day as well, because of the lovely staff. Can’t believe you can get this for this price, it’s a great deal! And only 5 minutes outside the center, so really quiet as well.

There was AC, hot shower and a decent enough bed. We did stay 4 nights so it's acceptable.

The whole place was pretty rough. Moldy curtains, dust, and worms in the bathroom...we're not very picky but you can probably find a nicer option.
