Location, history and helpful staff. Checked out today 26/7 by a lovely gentleman who took time to show us around and spoke of the history. He was baptised here. Simona on check-in too was lovely, recommending restaurants and booking us a taxi.
Best of all, when she noted our arrival was 1 day after my birthday (from our passport) she had Prosecco and nibbles sent to our room. Wonderful service means we'll recommend to others and return.
The only slight disappointment was the breakfast offering and poor quality bread. Please provide some local bread too.

Very good breakfast, so many pastries to choose from and with great coffee. The location was excellent, with easy access to the metro and plenty of restaurants nearby. The neighborhood is nice to walk around in the evenings.
The air conditioning and bed linen. Even after running the air conditioning 24/7, it made almost no difference. At midnight, the room was still around 30°C. The bed linen and duvet were also very warm, which made the heat even more uncomfortable.
I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, including in tropical countries where there was no air conditioning and only a fan, but this was the worst heat I have experienced in a hotel room.
