Suitree Experience Hotel

Very unique place , we loved it for a night , we could have stayed one or 2 more nights there.

A fantastic experience embedded in the jungle. The rooms are beautiful and modern, (interesting architectural design in themselves), while the hotel sits in its own grounds (and pretty much valley). We saw lots of interesting wildlife in the grounds (hummingbirds, lizards, squirrels, centipedes) but not in the room! The food at the onsite hotel was great, even after coming straight off an intercontinental flight. This stay was a spectacular way to start our holiday in Costa-Rica. The road(s) to the hotel are mud and a bit confusing, but the local signposts got use there straightforwardly.

This is the realization of a visionary, unique design concept of a treetop hotel within the Costa Rican jungle! Amazing design, very good restaurant, beautiful pool and a stunning viewpoint on top of the hill. The staff is the best - especially Johnny became very dear to us. Breakfast was outstanding - and the guys at the bar mix truly innovative drinks including their own spirit infusions with herbs and spices!

We LOVED everything about the property. We just want to point out that this is not for physically impaired people - steep roads to the treetop houses and steps down to the bases (you can get a friendly golf-cart shuttle all of the time though) and you need to be able to climb a decent amount of of steps/stairs up your treehouse and not be afraid of heights! For us - no problem at all! We loved it!

The views are great and you can see lots of birds and wildlife. The food and drinks were good. The pools are nice. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Our room unfortunately ran out of water and we were unable to use the sink or the shower. The AC unit also was temperamental and would randomly shut off which in the morning it gets very hot in the unit as it is glass and the sun beats down on the windows. Don’t bring a lot of luggage as there are many stairs up to the unit. We made this mistake but the plus side is the staff is more than accommodating to carry your luggage up the stairs if needed. I really wanted to rate this place well because the views were incredible but for the price we paid to have no water to shower/brush your teeth/wash hands and be sweating in the unit was not worth it.
