Nice quiet place in a sweet part of Hellevoetsluis.
Lovely little place, just a few rooms that all open to a central room where they serve breakfast. Clean, modern, a nice little patio right on a water passage. The staff was very friendly, gracious and welcoming.
Although the rooms were nice and clean and modern, there was no place to hang clothes for a multi-night stay. Also, while a lovely and spacious shower, no place to put shampoo, soap, etc. The breakfast was expensive and underwhelming.

Excellent choice of hotel in Hellevoetsluis!
This was the second time we stayed at the Hotel de Oude Veste and we were not disappointed. Exceptional deluxe room overlooking the river. Extremely comfortable and very well-appointed. Secure storage for our e-blkes. Very good breakfast served by extremely friendly and helpful staff. Would have no hesitation in staying here again!

Perfect!
There are 7 rooms in this hotel, with a common area for eating, common deck looking over the water, coffee always available. We booked 5 rooms for our sons’s wedding and it was perfect! It was very private, clean & the staff was exceptional! Breakfast became a favorite for us, various breads, jam, yogurt, fresh fruit, boiled egg, butter, meat & cheese. The little town was lovely and easy to navigate - all rooms had AC, dinner one night at the steakhouse was very good- we had wedding plans the rest of the time, or we would have gone every night.

Enjoyable and relaxing.
The location was very good as it was in the center of the main city part. It is nearby lots of resturants and the building the hotel is located in it very beautiful. Although it is a little pricy the room was very nice with tall ceilings and with a lovely bathroom.
I have minimal things which I did not like. Some people may not like the fact that they had no real reception but during normal working hours there was the cleaning crew/people that were part of the hotel you could ask questions to or voice any concerns, therefore it was not a majo problem during my stay.

Everything was well taken care of and the staff is really helpful in accommodating and helpful in coming up with solutions.
