Spacious and warm. Decent shower. Well stocked kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Perfect location at one end of the high street. I really enjoyed just sitting with my book and glancing out the window over the Menai straight. Shops and pubs just minutes away.

My only issues were I did not find the bed particularly comfortable as incredibly hard, same with the pillows, but that’s personal preference

This property is in an ideal location at the quiet end of the high street. Shops, pubs, restaurants are just minutes away. Double yellow lines outside but if you can’t find free street parking nearby the car park at £7.50 a day is less than 5 minutes away. All the rooms are spacious. Kitchen appliances are high quality, loved the hot water tap. Big walk in shower with good water pressure and endless hot water. Heating simple to operate for those occasional cold wet days but the apartment is generally lovely and warm so not needed.

My husband and I found the king size bed too hard so moved to the double bed which is softer. As it was our 2nd time here we also took our own pillows as the ones supplied were too firm for us

Only problem was leaky sink and plumbing bit smelly.

The location was excellent. Close to all shops and amenities.

The property smelled strongly of damp! The twin bedded room in particular and the bedding in there felt damp. We reported some cleaning issues to Sykes cottages, cutlery drawer was not clean, splattered with grease spots. Pans were not clean and the shower tray was very slow to drain plus it had a black mould sealant which needs replacing.
