The place is absolutely gorgeous, in a remote town. Well kept and cozy. Chema and Marlen who keep the place were totally devoted to making sure that we had everything we needed and to make us happy. They made the difference in a town with not so many possibilities apart from SCUBA diving and fishing. Our room was perfect and we would come back again no hesitation.

Would have loved more options in the menu.

The property was well situated for fly fishing. It had lovely views. Was large, and immaculately clean. It had great AC which is unusual in Xcalak! Breakfast was great, different every day, and served early enough to leave for fishing at 7.30 The beach was small but kept very clean and had nice chairs and sun shelter. The terrace caught the breeze in an evening and was lovely to sit there watching the pelicans.

There was nothing to dislike.

La posizione in riva al mare ottima, la vista dal balcone al primo piano eccezionale e la camera spaziosissima. La tranquillità e la sicurezza di Xcalak non hanno paragoni, la camera é rimasta aperta tutta la settimana mentre noi eravamo a pescare, non me lo aspettavo ma qua sei in un posto sicuro e sicuramente fuori dal mein stream turistico.

L’idea del lodge per pescatori é grandiosa, la posizione, la scelta di colori, forme ed arredamento molto ricercata, ma la gestione é ahimé pessima. Hanno una spiaggetta privata di pochi metri davanti alla porta ma non é curata e la spazzatura tutto intorno si ammassa. Al posto di avere sabbia hanno dei sassi, basterebbe poco per avere tanto! Chi dovrebbe lavorare in azienda durante il giorno fa poco o niente per tenere ordinato il tutto, peccato, ci vorrebbe poco per avere un paradiso. La colazione é molto ripetitiva e non é all’altezza delle aspettative, basterebbe poco per avere recensioni ottimali! Hanno in mano un giocattolo bellissimo ma non sanno gestirlo!
