Parcerito's Hostel

Without doubt the warmest reception I’ve ever had from a host and his team of volunteers. The ambience and charm of the property made me feel like I’d come home. I loved the camaraderie between all the travellers. Sharing meals, going on hikes, watching football altogether - we had so much fun and laughter. The facilities were spot on - clean, comfortable and every need was attended to.

We only stayed for one night but the hostel was very friendly and comfortable. Good central location in th the town

- We had a great time staying at Parcerito’s. Despite it only being one night, the impact on us was dramatic. Camilo was a generous host, knowledgeable of the surrounding area and really showed the best of Colombian hospitality. - The hostel was clean and well maintained with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The location was great and only a 5 minute walk from the centre of Jericó. There’s free coffee available from Camilo’s family finca which is exceptional. - I would recommend this stay to anyone, it’s been out favourite in Colombia so far (we’ve been travelling for 1 month)!

Imagine a huge house, where many people live, but no one does the chores because it's nobody's business. Even if it's just a hostel, I do think there must be someone who regularly cleans the place. Trash bags everywhere, bins full to the rim, common areas (kitchen, garden, corridors) in chaos. Fortunately, the rooms are relatively clean. The place has tons of potential, it literally just needs some cleaning. Reviews about it are all amazing (thus I chose it), maybe the day I stayed there wasn't just 'my' day, perhaps because it's the season and they accommodate to many guests.
