Location in nice its along the higwhay, yet the room has foul smell, we requested to be transferred luckily there is available room

For starters, I'll give credit where it's due. Bassa Nova Villa is undeniably beautiful. The rooms, pool area, and overall aesthetic are well-designed and Instagrammable. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay, and hot water in the shower was consistently available. Unfortunately, beyond the aesthetics, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in years of traveling. What stood out the most was the apparent lack of proactive hospitality and guest care. Hospitality is about anticipating guests' needs and providing solutions when issues arise. Throughout our stay, that seemed to be consistently missing. We arrived at around 5:35 PM on June 23. Instead of feeling welcomed, the staff appeared unsure of how to receive arriving guests. There were no welcome drinks, no warm introduction to the property, and the interactions throughout our stay felt noticeably impersonal. It immediately gave us the impression that service would not be a strong point here, and unfortunately, that proved to be true. The first major issue was the AC in our room. Despite setting it to the lowest temperature, the room remained uncomfortably warm. When I requested a transfer, I was initially informed by Robina that no other rooms were available. After checking the system, however, she found an available room upstairs, but it has the same faulty AC issue👎🏼 With no practical alternative offered, we stayed in our original room. We went out for dinner hoping the room would cool down while we were away. Several hours later, we returned to find that the AC set at 17°C still felt like it was simply blowing warm air. Not exactly the relaxing first night we had envisioned. I then asked whether a fan could be provided to help with air circulation. The response was a simple "wala po eh", without an apology, explanation, or attempt to offer another solution. We ended up relying on our own portable fans throughout the night and even repositioned the bed closer to the AC unit just to make the room bearable. Breakfast was another disappointment. Guests are given only three choices: a sandwich, hotsilog, or hamsilog, along with either coffee or juice. The options were limited, the portions were underwhelming, and by our last breakfast, they had already run out of milk. For a property charging hotel rates, the breakfast experience felt remarkably below minimim standards. On our third night, we encountered a significant ant problem in the room. My husband requested housekeeping assistance at around 10 PM, but none was available. Instead, he was handed an almost-empty bottle of insect spray and left to deal with the issue himself. He eventually managed to make it work by diluting the remaining contents with water and spraying the trail of ants running from the bathroom toward the door. He also specifically requested that housekeeping attend to the room the following morning. No one came. In fact, housekeeping was practically non-existent during our entire stay. Over the course of 5 days and 4 nights, our room was never cleaned, tissues and toiletries were never replenished, and no follow-up or apology was ever offered. Bassa Nova Villa succeeds as an aesthetic property but fails in many of the fundamentals that define a good hotel experience. Beautiful photos and attractive interiors can only go so far when basic guest comfort, maintenance, housekeeping, and customer service are lacking. I would strongly recommend future travelers consider other accommodations before booking here. Unfortunately, this is not a property I would return to or recommend.

The property offered reliable Wi-Fi, convenient parking, and a decent breakfast, making it fairly walkable in the area. However, the bathroom facilities were disappointing and could use improvement. Overall, the location and cleanliness were average, and while the staff were helpful, the amenities didn't quite meet expectations.
