About this house rental
We are delighted to offer you our farmhouse-themed, historical 3-bedroom upper flat. Only a few steps from the beautiful Lake Michigan. This updated, original hardwood floor home from the early 1900's offers you a warm, cozy & yet modern amenities. All with the convenience to explore Bayview and Milwaukee.
Minutes away from downtown Milwaukee, shopping, beer gardens and local bars with amazing fresh brews & sit down outdoor dining.

We are available at anytime during your stay and are here to help you with anything you may require during your stay.
Only 1 block away from Lake Michigan, beach and beer garden and south shore park.
There are stairs to enter unit.
Please bring your coffee/tea of choice. We have a tea kettle, drip coffee maker and keurig for your enjoyment!
**We do allow pets but we do NOT allow pets on any furniture, bedding, blankets or towels. If we see pet hair on any of the items listed you will be charged the full security deposit to replace or clean items that the pet was on.**
Important: We do not allow smoking of any kind in the house. If we suspect smoking in the house you will be asked to leave. If the house smells of smoke when you leave, you will be charged your full security deposit.
Due to the exponential increases of parties’ incidences since COVID-19 restrictions, VRBO countered with a complete global ban on all parties and events hosted in VRBO rentals. VRBO recommends the use of a noise monitor system, and we have installed one of their recommended systems which allows for guest notification if noise levels are at a level that could disturb neighbors.
MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER TO BOOK THIS PROPERTY.
Please contact the host if you are interested in bringing your pet. We have a pet agreement and fee that will need to be arranged for before the reservation is complete. Unfortunately, not all breeds are accepted due to our insurance policy.
There is quiet period between the hours of 10pm-7am, as you will have neighbors near you.

Great place in Bay View! A short walk to the lake. Very cutely decorated but the floors were a bit creaky and you could hear everything. Lovely, spacious kitchen & comfy beds; nice bathroom. Lovely little porch to sip coffee in the AM.

Overall a great rental. Location was perfect and property just as described. The ambiance of the rental very quaint with all the old antique touches. Beds and pillows were EXTREMELY comfortable and a very quiet neighborhood made for great sleeping.My only complaint would be the lack of wash clothes and communication. There was only 1 wash cloth in the unit. When I messaged via both text and the VRBO app about getting more there was no response. Still haven't heard back. Overall a great place to stay. Just make sure you pack your own washcloths and don't expect much response from your host if a situation arises.

Positives- Excellent location and safe for a big city with lots of good food and activities nearby. The city, and summerfest, were all within 10-15 minute drive and an easy uber location. It was very cutely decorated, with all the amenities and a nice shower. Negatives- Very delayed access key time- had to email, call and text repeatedly to get inside and then waited an hour for the official access key.Positive/negative- Burglar proof with the squeakiest floors and beds you’ve ever heard. Negatives- Cleanliness, a lot of staining on towels, even though they’re clean. Extremely dusty under beds and couch but no bugs or spiders.

This is a great location. There is a downstairs unit through VRBO also which we stayed in previously. The value for that unit is far better than this one. Charming is one descriptor that I would use. It's really just old and creaky. The property manager took care of our concern right away but someone had been smoking pot either downstairs or in our unit before we took possession. I would say this rental is ok but not great.
