About this house rental
My home is located on a large lot in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood on the northeast side of town close to parks, trails, the Eel River and the 4-H fairgrounds which is just around the corner. It takes only a few minutes to get anywhere you want to go in Logansport from this location. If clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing quarters is what you desire during your stay with easy access to anywhere in Logansport, than this is it.
The space
Guests use the front door to enjoy their private space which includes 3 large, nicely appointed bedrooms. 2 rooms have queen size beds and one room has 2 twin beds and a twin foam floor mattress that can be placed in any room. The bathroom is equipped with a full tub with shower. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating and a smart tv. There are 2 separate eating nooks around the kitchen to spread out. You should find what you need in the kitchen to cook in if you prefer not to go out. The locked, sound resistant door in the kitchen separates your space from a small apartment in the back of the house (occasionally occupied) which includes the garage and a separate entrance around the other side and back of the house. The wide driveway has enough room to turn around and has a dedicated guest parking spot(s). There is a ring doorbell facing the driveway.
Guest access
Guests have private access to the whole north side of the home and may enjoy the front yard.
Other things to note
If someone has mobility issues, please be advised that there is one step leading up to the doorway.
There is no smoking or vaping of anything inside the home. If needed, a smoker or vaper may smoke outside on the north side of the home. I often use the whole home when not hosting and have allergies to cigarette smoke, animals and strong perfume scents so I would greatly appreciate it if guests would avoid spraying a lot of perfume please. All bedding is washed with fragrance free detergent and the home is cleaned using minimal fragrance when possible. ******* If the no smoking rule is broken a minimum of $200 fee will be assessed ********
The house uses well water and since Indiana has hard water most households, including this one, use water softeners. If you aren’t familiar with softened water, you’ll notice that as you bathe your skin will feel slick and silky so don’t be alarmed. It’s perfectly normal and safe. Often preferable.
Parents of young children, please note that the house isn’t baby proofed with cabinet locks, outlet covers, cordless blinds and such so you would have to assume your own risk if children accompany you. You’ll have access to the smart thermostat located behind the door leading into the hallway to set to your preferred comfort level. There are 4 lawn chairs stored in the entry closet for you to use if you’d like to sit out front. We provide generous starter supplies of toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels and such. If you happen to run out or need anything there’s a dollar general just one mile away. The smart TV on the living room is ready for you to log into your private apps. Please remember to logout upon leaving.
